We've been repairing, servicing, and providing new appliances for over 25 years.
ACES Domestic Appliance Repairs & Sales Centre has been serving the people of Nottinghamshire since 1982.
ACES started in the 1980s in the then thriving Arnold Town Centre Market. As our business grew we needed a proper shop and we found our first premises on the Arnold High Street (opposite Sainsbury’s for those of us who can remember it being there!). Our first shop was a popular and bustling place, often referred to as “Arkwright’s Shop” from Open All Hours (now that really does age us). We were always busy as were our shelves, packed from floor to ceiling with spare parts and accessories… it seemed that no matter what people were looking for, we could lay our hands on it. We had plenty of new appliances too (often too many… we made good use of the pavement at the front of the shop). We were fortunate enough to have repeat customers from all over Nottinghamshire, from Mansfield to Beeston. But times were changing.
After two decades working from Arnold High Street, trends were changing and the kitchen was becoming the centre point of British homes. Layouts and appliances were becoming stylish and sleek. This is where we envisaged a proper showroom for our customers to come and see… so we moved into our current shop in the heart of Woodthorpe. We are currently looking to further improve our showroom to help our customers choose the right appliance for them. We like to think that we offer excellent advice, and of course whether you’re looking to repair an appliance or if you’re looking to replace your cooker or fridge-freezer, then you can be assured of great service from ACES. We look forward to meeting you.
